This is part of our continued commitment to
DOING WHATEVER IT TAKES
to promote the health and wellness
of the community we serve.

We’re so proud of our HeartLand Heroes!
They’re doing whatever it takes 24/7/365.

Monarch Butterflies are struggling for survival. Communities are working together to create habitats that will benefit monarchs as well as other important pollinating insects. HeartLand is proud to be a part of this caring community.

We would like to thank our partners:

Del Paso Heights Growers’ Alliance
Xerces Society for Invertebrate Conservation
California Native Plant Society – Sacramento Valley Chapter

for helping to make a difference.

On May 2, 2017, we celebrated the groundbreaking of True Beginnings Community Orchard at our 811 Grand Avenue clinic in Del Paso Heights. We were joined by nearly one-third of California’s Assembly Members, as well as volunteers from Green Tech Tree Foundation, California ReLeaf, Mutual Area Network, and PG&E to plant over 40 fruit trees. Within a few short years, the efforts of our community partners will produce a rich variety of fruit available to our local residents.

Our 40th annual holiday party was a huge success. Open to the public, we celebrated our community with all the guilty pleasures of childhood: cotton candy, popcorn, hotdogs, and games galore! The evening ended with our guests testing their luck in a spirited raffle for an array of fun prizes. A wonderful time had by all!
